LUSH Jasmine and Henna Fluff Eaze

I love that the tagline for this is simply: "For when you don't want to look like a poodle"! This is a pre-shampoo treatment to help dry, frizzy hair, with lots of different oils thrown into the mix.

I originally went into LUSH to get a different hair treatment (leaning more towards H'Suan Wen Hua) but this was suggested to me by the sales assistant because it contains red henna, which would make my dyed ginger hair stay a bit more vibrant too. I hesitantly agreed to get this, even though I was horrified that it said to use a whole pot for long hair, the assistant assured me that I didn't need even close to that much!

After leaving this on for twenty minutes and washing my hair as normal, my hair felt really soft and was definitely slightly less frizzy. It was nothing dramatic, but I'd cautiously only used about a fifth of a pot. The next time I used it, I used a fair bit more and the results were even better! I'm now left with half a pot and thinking I'm just going to take the plunge and use the rest of it and once!

Have you tried this before? What's your favourite hair treatment?

Signature Scent: Chloe Narcisse

I see so many "Perfume Collection" posts and videos and I really wonder how people can have so many perfumes! I've been wearing Chloe Narcisse for years and years, ever since my mum first bought it for me for a birthday one year, and I can never find anything that I like nearly as much as this!

I'm terrible at describing fragrances but it's a sweet, floral scent and according to the Perfume Shop website, it has heart notes of Gardenia, Caration, Jasmin, Rose and Lily of the Valley; top notes of Peach, Pineapple, Orange Blossom, Violet, Plum and Bergamot, and finally base notes of Cedar, Sandal, Vinilla, Musk and Amber. Woah, sounds like a lot going on there! But it really is just a nice, simple floral scent.

Saying this, I'd really like to branch out into some new perfumes so would love some suggestions!

Are you a signature scent kind of girl or a perfume hoarder?

Liz Earle Superskin Moisturiser

You know how people always say you don't know what you're missing 'til it's gone? That's exactly what happened with this moisturiser!

This is a rich, fragrance-free moisturiser made especially for either mature or very dry skin - I was really [pleasantly] surprised that it didn't have the usual "Liz Earle" smell and it felt SO moisturising even just applied to the back of my hand. Like other Liz Earle products, this uses naturally active ingredients, including lots of oils and shea butter.

It glides on really smoothly to the skin and makes a really good base for make-up! My very dry, sensitive skin always feels amazing after I put this on and after the end of my first 15g pot I was convinced that my skin was now acting like normal skin! I had no dry patches whatsoever and my skin just looked seriously healthy. That was my first mistake. When I ran out, I was at uni so didn't have a Liz Earle counter near me (sob!) so made do with buying No7's Beautiful Skin moisturiser for Normal/Dry skin, with me being incredibly optimistic that I no longer needed to go for the Dry/Very Dry variety. Needless to say, my skin went haywire after just a week and became red, flaky and painful so I desperately ordered myself another little pot of this goodness and my skin was sorted within days!

I literally can't express my love for this product enough; I'd even go as far as to say it's my Holy Grail moisturiser (hate that saying, but sometimes you do just need to say it!). So that's another product checked off my 2012 wishlist that has actually lived up to my expectations, but now it's just made me dying to try the facial oil (the Superskin Concentrate) and now the body cream has been added to my wishlist too! Doh!

What's your favourite moisturiser? Do you love Liz Earle as much as I do?

Topshop Metallic Nails

L-R: Heart of Gold, Eyes of Steel, Hidden Treasure, Moonshine
All £6 from Topshop

I don't know about you, but I'm not quite ready to abandon metallics in favour of spring pastels just yet! Topshop Nails have quickly become my favourite nail polish, the colour range is amazing and the brush is quite short and wide which makes application really quick and easy.

I first fell in love with "Eyes of Steel" at the beginning of Winter; it's a sort of lilac-y/silvery purple (bear with me, rubbish at describing colours!) and I love it! Shortly after, I acquired "Heart of Gold" and "Moonshine". "Heart of Gold" is quite simply a metallic gold colour which is very pretty but I think I need a bit of a tan to pull it off (never gonna happen!). Moonshine definitely trumps it, how it looks really does it no justice whatsoever - it's described as a rose gold colour, which I hadn't really thought of before but now I've thought about it, it's definitely right, although it does lean a lot more silver in my opinion.

Lastly is "Hidden Treasure", one of the petrol polishes that have been everywhere lately. I was lucky enough to win this in a competition from Fleur de Force and it is gorgeous! I didn't think I liked it as it is definitely more of a green based polish, not something I usually go for, but it also has reflective gold and blue tones in it so looks really nice in the natural light.

What do you think of Topshop polishes? Are you wearing pastels yet or still sticking to your Winter colours?
